Everything you need to know about Pilates Festival Scotland 2020

Pilates Festival Scotland is back for another year!

Get along to the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Dunblane Hydro on Sunday, 15 March for a day packed with classes, workshops, and top exhibitors.

Designed for all levels of ability, the highlights include:

The Innocent looking Mini Band Loop with Sabrina Faith

Mini band loops are another great way to add challenge and variety to the moves you already know and create new and exciting possibilities.

They help to gently strengthen and tone the body and are a great rehabilitation tool.

Join Sabrina Faith of Athlon Pilates Academy in an exploratory session with these looped bands, suitable for all abilities.

Alternate between different lengthening and resisting moves using the bands to work on different muscle groups and change difficulty levels.

They will soon become another great addition to your Pilates practise.

Find Your Roots and Wings On the Mat with Debbie Robbins

Debbie Robbins of Air Control Pilates class is set to bring Pilates Festival Scotland a brilliant fusion of Pilates and Aerial!

Keep your feet on the ground (sometimes) and experience flying in the face of fear and limitation. It’s a joyous experience!

Flow Through Your Pilates Moves with Nora Class

Nora of Balanced Edinburgh will lead you through a Pilates-based whole body workout for all levels of ability.

This class is designed to functionally flow with some varied and fun progressions that can provide a satisfying challenge at every level.

You will focus on connections to your body and your centre and work with precision and energy.

This class highlights that progress requires a stimulus to reap the rewards, whilst following the principles of Pilates we all know and love. Enjoy!

Fearless Spine with Cameron Angus

Join Cameron and move through a progressive, liberating and confidence building mat class for the spine and importantly, you the person.

This is a class born from Cameron’s Fearless Spine programme, designed for the prevention and rehabilitation of spinal pain and dysfunction.

It also incorporates giving yourself “permission to move” by learning to get rid of any fears of movement.

It’s designed to address common fears and myths about spines and leave you with a healthy respect for the integrity and possibilities of the spine, in integrated movement and the Pilates repertoire.

Cameron uses his unique fusion as a clinical specialist physiotherapist and international movement teacher to bring you this great class.

You will work through moves you know, and then gradually explore and release into your true potential.

The class is designed for all abilities and will shine a light on the path we should be following in our approach to creating  joyful fearless movement.

Leave with new light on what you can do!

Tickets are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

Price includes a four classes, healthy lunch, and a goodie bag supported by Holistic Scotland Magazine.
