The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions have had a devastating effect on our Wellbeing Awards.

We have held off on cancelling or moving the awards online in the hope that things would improve and that, at some point, we would be able to go ahead with a live event. Sadly, it’s still unclear when this will be possible.

Although things appear to be improving, there’s no telling when we will all be able to get together in person to celebrate Scotland’s health and wellbeing industry and our successes as businesses and individuals.

Therefore, just over a year since the awards ceremony was set to take place, we have no choice but to cancel the live event and move our announcements online.

We will be able to issue refunds for tickets in due course, but please note that this will take time as we recoup money from our suppliers who were lined up for the event. We really appreciate your patience thus far and for bearing with us.

The situation is something none of us could have anticipated and we are aware it has affected many families and businesses – ours included.

Although we were forced to postpone production for 6 months, we are now forging ahead with our Summer 2021 print issue and look forward to engaging with you more in due course.

One of the difficulties with simply moving the awards online is that our judges never fully got the chance to visit or review all of our finalists.

To counter this now, we would like to invite all our finalists to submit a brief paragraph on how your business has been affected and/or diversified and adapted during lockdown.

This, combined with the information we have already collated, will be used to make a final decision on the winners and runners up.

If you could get this information to us by May 1, 2021, we will be able to progress and announce our winners next month.

As you may already know, we have rebranded from Holistic Scotland Magazine to become Good Health, Wellbeing & The Great Outdoors – therefore our awards will become the Good Health Wellbeing Awards and you will receive a new finalist badge for your website.

Our winners and runners up will become our 2021 cohort and entries will shortly open for 2022 with an amended awards model to cover all eventualities.

Sadly, our winners will no longer receive a glass award but a certificate and, of course, the prize of 12 months’ advertising and marketing support with the magazine.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions. In the meantime, we look forward to hearing how you have dealt with Covid and will provide more information from May 1.

Also please note our new email address: contact@goodhealthmagazine.co.uk. The next email you receive from us will be from this address.

Very best wishes,

Good Health Magazine Team
