Dementia care specialist will answer questions on everything dementia-related this month as part of Dementia Action Week
Dementia Action Week, which runs 17-22 May 2022, is a national awareness event from the Alzheimer’s Society – designed to take action to improve the lives of people affected by dementia, and those around them. This year’s theme is diagnosis.
In support of this, dementia care specialist Loveday & Co has gathered a panel of leaders in dementia diagnosis, treatment and care to take part in an online Q&A session covering everything dementia-related, for families with questions or concerns about their loved ones.
The ‘Loveday Answers’ webinar will take place on Tuesday, 17 May at 7pm.
Chaired by Anna Dobbie, editor of Caring Times magazine, the panel of experts includes Dr Julia Wood, Consultant in Practice Improvement and Dementia Care, Dr Tom MacLaren, Consultant Psychiatrist at Re:Cognition Health, and Gabriela Zackova, Director of Wellbeing & Dementia at Loveday & Co.
During this live Q&A, members of the public can ask any questions about dementia, from the signs and symptoms, to the importance of an early diagnosis, care at home and specialist care setting options, what to consider and where to go for help.
Questions can be submitted in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org, or through the chat function during the webinar itself.
